Affiliate marketing a 'highly measurable tool'


People interested in establishing e-learning affiliate networks will be glad to hear that the future of affiliate marketing in general is bright, according to one digital marketing expert.

Writing on Utalkmarketing.com, industry expert Liane Dietrich explained that affiliate marketing grew by 38.2 per cent to £72.6 million last year, according to Internet Advertising Bureau statistics.

She stated that the data is a clear indication that "an increasing number of digital marketers are embracing affiliate marketing as they come to grips with their online audience and look at effective ways in which to target them".

Ms Dietrich went on to say that affiliate marketing is "a highly measurable marketing tool" and can be useful in helping marketers to "up-sell activity to the rest of their business".

Indeed, affiliate marketing for e-learning could also be a useful way for those selling access and management tools such as Moodle Modules, Dokeos Extensions and Blackboard Powerlinks to increase take up of the products.
