Dow AgroSciences launches new e-learning course

Dow AgroSciences has launched a new e-learning module for the potato sprout suppression product Fazor, which may be utilising tools such as Dokeos Extensions and Blackboard Powerlinks.

The company has introduced the second of its ground-breaking concepts in plant protection technical transfer, according to Farming UK, which reports that the course is designed for potato growers and advisors.

It is aimed at helping to improve understanding of how the product works and how to get the best out of it and participants who complete it will earn a CPD BASIS point, according to John Sellars, marketing specialist for Dow AgroSciences.

He is quoted by the publication as saying: "Whilst it retains the essential information on integrated methods of volunteer potato control and sprout suppression in store, there is in addition a wealth of product information to optimize its use."

E-learning tools such as Dokeos Extensions and Blackboard Powerlinks are designed to allow students to access module documents on the internet.
