VPAT and Accessibility
Voluntary Product Accessibility Template

Course Merchant is VPAT2.4 and WCAG Compliant
VPAT is a voluntary self assessment of how accessible a software system is. It is seen as best practise in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) / Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). Many governments insist on WCAG compliance, so it is important to conform. Course Merchant is WCAG compliant.
A completed VPAT document, referred to as an ACR (Accessibility Conformance Report) explains how ICT software and hardware conform to the revised standards set out in Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and Section 255 of the Communications Act.
Course Merchant core is VPAT2.4 compliant (the latest version), but we then operate within the limitations set by a client’s own web design match. If they have a VPAT2.4 compliant theme, then all is well.
If you have any accessibility issues or concerns please report them here; accessibility@coursemerchant.com.
